Return from Afghanistan

We fell in love with Bill and Karla when we met them shopping for wedding invitations, they were planning an intimate wedding before Bill left on deployment. Since then, we have had the joy of photographing their engagement session, beautiful wedding, and now the biggest honor of all, Bill’s homecoming from serving with the Navy in Afghanistan. We usually end up feeling like our clients are part of our family after their wedding but never so much as this. As Bill and Karla saw each other for the first time in 218 days we struggled to hold back tears as so many strangers came up to thank Bill for his service and tell him “Welcome Home Son”. Words can not describe how happy we are for them and how happy we are to be a part of their amazing story.

Bill made us this bracelet while in Afghanistan that Soldiers make for family and loved ones back home… we are so touched!!
